Our product range
At Delsbo Candle, we produce taper candles, pillar candles, and channel candles. The following applies to all our candles:
The candle base is grooved for the best fit in candle holders.
We make our candles exclusively from stearin, a renewable raw material (paraffin is based on fossil oil).
A stearin candle emits minimal environmentally or health-hazardous substances.
Delsbo Candle’s candles fully meet the European standards EN 15426 (sooting behavior) and EN 15493 (fire safety), as well as the quality requirements of RAL.
The stearin used in our production contains neither palm oil nor palm wax.
All candles manufactured by Delsbo Candle meet the strict environmental requirements set by the Nordic Swan Ecolabel from a lifecycle perspective.
Delsbo Candle offers around 50 standard colors, and all our candles can carry the Swan Ecolabel.
We produce candles under our customers’ own brands, and these can also be Nordic Swan–labeled. For more information, see EMV/Private Label.
Our sales channels are largely directed to the central purchasing functions of retail chains and wholesalers. However, we are flexible and can handle smaller volumes thanks to our simple, customer-adapted logistics. We are confident that, together with our customers, we can always find the most optimal solution for their needs.
Candles under the “Delsbo Candle” brand carry the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Our customers’ own brands can also easily carry the Swan label.

Private Label (EMV) is Delsbo Candle’s specialty, meaning we produce candles under our customers’ own brands. We also apply the Nordic Swan Ecolabel to our customers’ private label products. Today, all grocery chains, many specialty stores, and several wholesalers have their own brands (EMV) that they wish to highlight for various reasons.
The following applies to Private Label:
The customer is fully responsible for all brand-specific materials.
Costs for printing plates and any die-cutting are invoiced to the customer.
The minimum order volume for brand-specific materials is approximately 30,000 units. Partial orders are allowed.
Custom colors can be developed upon request.
If a product under a private label is discontinued, the customer is responsible for any costs associated with leftover brand-specific materials.
